Seeking a full-time Intellectual Property Specialist to join our team in a non-attorney, support staff capacity. This role is ideal for experienced patent prosecution legal support professionals. We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and e-file patent prosecution documents with the USPTO.
- Prepare and proofread client correspondence.
- Manage an independent workload and maintain deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of current patent prosecution secretarial or legal support experience.
- This position is not for attorneys or law school graduates.
Desired Skills & Qualities:
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
- Advanced MS Word skills with fast and accurate typing (minimum 50 wpm).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
