About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated, hard-working Grounds Crew Worker to join our tree service team. You’ll work directly with our climbers and operators to keep jobs running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Key ResponsibilitiesGround Support & Jobsite Operations
- Assist climbers with ropes, rigging, and communication.
- Safely operate chainsaws, handsaws, blowers, and other forestry tools.
- Manage ropes, lower cut limbs, and control drop zones.
- Clear debris, feed brush into the chipper, and maintain a clean, organized work site.
- Set up cones, yard mats, signage, and jobsite safety gear.
Equipment Operation
- Operate skid steers, mini-skids, grapple attachments, and other machinery to move logs and brush.
- Load/unload equipment and help maintain tools in good working order.
- Assist with fueling, greasing, and basic equipment maintenance.
Teamwork & Safety
- Follow all safety protocols and communicate clearly with the crew.
- Support climbers by anticipating needs and staying alert.
- Wear proper PPE at all times and help enforce a safe working environment.
- Attend training sessions (climbing, rigging, crane signaling, etc.) as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with skid steers and mini-skids required (or willing to learn quickly).
- Chainsaw experience required — felling, bucking, limbing, sharpening basics a plus.
- Roping/rigging experience is a major plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to be coached.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
