SOFTWARE DEVELOPER 2 3269 - LANL- Los Alamos, NM

JOB SUMMARY:
The position will need to be filled with a highly motivated individual who is able to work well under pressure. Possibly working on several applications at once in a highly agile structure while maintaining the laboratorys high security mandates.
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of a specialized information technology (IT) field plus working knowledge of other related IT fields.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be comfortable and willing to carry out test driven development.
Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.
Works under limited direction; receives general instructions on new assignments.
Work is evaluated upon completion.
May provide limited technical direction and/or coordinate activities of other personnel.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Determines approach to solutions, plans schedule and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
WORK HOURS: HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Education: Requires a bachelors degree and a minimum of five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
A strong background in Java, specifically the Spring framework is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High level knowledge with Angular and MySQL databases is desired.
