Oley Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Pump Operator to operate both boom pumps and line pumps. This role is critical to our operations and requires a dependable individual who can safely and efficiently place concrete on a variety of residential, commercial, and large-scale pours.
This position works closely with dispatch, drivers, and contractors to ensure smooth, professional job execution.
Responsibilities
- Operate boom pumps and line pumps safely and efficiently
- Set up, break down, and clean pump systems at job sites
- Monitor concrete flow and adjust operations as needed
- Coordinate with ready-mix drivers and contractors on site
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Troubleshoot blockages and mechanical issues in the field
- Ensure proper placement techniques and job site safety
- Maintain clean and professional equipment appearance
- Complete job tickets and required documentation
Requirements
- Experience operating concrete boom pumps and/or line pumps preferred
- CDL Class B (or willingness to obtain) preferred
- Strong understanding of concrete placement and job site workflow
- Ability to work long hours, early mornings, and occasional weekends
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew and customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in ready-mix or construction industry
- Mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pump systems, etc.)
- Experience with large pours and tight-access placements
