Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items, following proper merchandising standards.
• Use equipment like RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts to load, unload, and transport inventory safely within the warehouse or store.
• Maintain accurate inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular counts, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of products from suppliers.
• Keep the work area clean and organized by performing routine maintenance, cleaning shelves, and ensuring safe manual handling practices.
• Support customer service efforts by helping shoppers locate items or answer product questions in multiple languages if needed.
• Participate in packaging, labeling, and preparing products for sale or shipment while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience or retail grocery store experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is a plus.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accurate stock levels and product placement.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices and materials handling procedures.
