- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about products, and upsell items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including proper food handling and storage practices to meet health regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy while providing friendly cashiering service.
- Restock shelves, arrange displays attractively, and ensure product freshness throughout your shift.
- Support food safety protocols by following sanitation procedures and adhering to food industry standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in sales transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and assist shoppers effectively.
