ABOUT THE ROLE
Olea Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Lead who can balance hands-on cleaning with team coordination and organization.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is ready to step into light leadership responsibilities, including assigning rooms, managing supplies, and helping keep the team on track.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead by example while actively cleaning rooms alongside the team
- Clean guest rooms and common areas to high standards
- Assign daily rooms using Cloudbeds PMS to ensure fair and efficient workload distribution
- Manage housekeeping inventory and supplies (linens, amenities, cleaning products)
- Maintain par levels and communicate ordering needs
- Inspect rooms to ensure quality and consistency
- Support training and onboarding of team members
- Help maintain smooth daily operations and team communication
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- 3 years in housekeeping (hotel experience preferred)
- Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus
Organized Detail-Oriented
- Strong eye for cleanliness and presentation
- Able to stay ahead of supply and operational needs
Tech-Comfortable
- Experience with Cloudbeds PMS or similar system preferred
Reliable Team-Oriented
- Consistent, dependable, and solution-focused
- Leads by example and communicates clearly
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred: Ability to communicate with both English- and Spanish-speaking guests and team members is a plus
- Ability to lift (up to 50lbs), bend, and be on your feet for extended periods
