What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Warehouse Customer Order Pallet Picker, Loader and Receiver position at OLE TYME PRODUCE INC?
Ole Tyme Produce is hiring for our Night Warehouse crew on both second and third shift!
The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday.
The first available shift is 2pm to finish on second shift. Second shift finish time depends on the volume of work to be done that day, but is generally between 10pm-12am. This shift is our picking/selecting shift.
The other available shift is 6pm to finish on third shift. Third shift finish time also depends on the volume of work to be done that day, but is generally between 2:30am-4am. This shift is our pallet wrapping, stickering, and truck loading shift.

Duties:
Responsible for accurately selecting, receiving, and loading product while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
This role uses WMS technology to fill full-case, split-case, and will-call orders; load trucks; and receive, store, and rotate inventory using FIFO/FEFO practices.
Employees must safely operate material handling equipment, complete required documentation, and ensure traceability, allergen control, temperature verification, and chain of custody at all times.
The position also includes routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and work areas, performing pre-op inspections, monitoring product quality, and maintaining clean, organized coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas in compliance with SQF HACCP, Food Defense, SOP, and SSOP requirements.
Position Requirements
Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and mounting/dismounting lift trucks throughout an 8-hour or longer shift. The role requires comfort working in cooler and freezer environments (including sustained 40°F temperatures), the ability to read, count, and perform basic math, and strong attention to detail. Applicants should be knowledgeable in warehouse systems (WMS), power equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and fresh produce quality standards, with forklift/material handling certification required. Successful candidates are dependable, punctual, able to follow detailed customer specifications and hygiene policies, perform basic visual quality inspections, document non-conforming product, and work effectively as part of a team.
