The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday. Monday start time is 5am, and the rest of the week is 6am. Finish time is generally 3pm.

Duties:
Responsible for accurately receiving product while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
This role uses WMS technology to receive incoming product to Ole Tyme Produce’s warehouse. You will also store and rotate inventory using FIFO/FEFO practices.
Employees must safely operate material handling equipment, complete required documentation, and ensure traceability, allergen control, temperature verification, and chain of custody at all times.
The position also includes routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and work areas, performing pre-op inspections, monitoring product quality, and maintaining clean, organized coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas in compliance with SQF HACCP, Food Defense, SOP, and SSOP requirements.
Position Requirements
Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and mounting/dismounting lift trucks throughout an 8-hour or longer shift. The role requires comfort working in cooler and freezer environments (including sustained 40°F temperatures), the ability to read, count, and perform basic math, and strong attention to detail. Applicants should be knowledgeable in warehouse systems (WMS), power equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and fresh produce quality standards, with forklift/material handling certification required. Successful candidates are dependable, punctual, able to follow detailed customer specifications and hygiene policies, perform basic visual quality inspections, document non-conforming product, and work effectively as part of a team.
