Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining desktop systems, and ensuring timely response to support tickets in accordance with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows 11, Okta, Google Workspace, printer management, and general end-user support.

Role and Responsibilities

· Respond promptly to IT support tickets, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs.

· Provide desktop support for end-users, including hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting.

· Manage and maintain Windows 11 workstations, ensuring system updates, configurations, and security standards are met.

· Administer Okta for identity and access management, including onboarding/offboarding and MFA support.

· Support and troubleshoot Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Docs, etc.).

· Configure and troubleshoot network and local printers; manage print services.

· Maintain and update asset inventory for IT equipment.

· Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth delivery of technical services.

· Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to end-users at all levels.

· Participate in documentation of IT procedures, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

· Support the onboarding and offboarding process by setting up user accounts, provisioning devices, and configuring necessary tools.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Experience with mobile device management (e.g., NinjaOne, JamfPro).

· Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, NinjaOne, Remote Desktop).

· IT certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or Google Workspace Administrator are a plus.

Physical demands & work environment

· Regularly required to sit and work at a computer.

· Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or listen to others.

· Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.

· Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

· Must be able to lift 75lbs.
