The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our growth in the Panhandle Market. In this role, you won't just manage a territory—you will inspire a high-performing sales team, build lasting partnerships with major retail stakeholders, and directly influence our market presence. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead & Inspire: Coach, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team of Territory Sales Representatives to surpass regional goals.
- Cultivate Partnerships: Build and maintain deep, sustainable relationships with national, regional, and independent retail accounts through consistent weekly visits.
- Drive Strategic Growth: Partner with Regional and Division Managers to design, budget, and execute high-impact sales programs.
- Expand Market Footprint: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities to maximize brand ACV (All Commodity Volume).
- Champion Visual Merchandising: Design and implement high-exposure product displays and optimized planograms to drive consumer engagement at the shelf.
- Execute with Excellence: Launch flawless promotional and marketing programs that maximize investment returns and elevate the Olé brand.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience in Retail Sales, Account Management, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
- Growth Mindset: A results-oriented professional with a passion for smashing targets and creating win-win scenarios for retailers.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse stakeholders, from corporate HQ buyers to independent local operators.
- Strategic Thinker: Comfortable using space-to-sales data and planograms to unlock efficiency and drive revenue.
- On-the-Move Ready: A valid driver's license and a comfort level traveling throughout the local market in a company-provided vehicle to interface directly with customers.
