What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Oldmixon Construction?
The Construction Superintendent (CS) will perform the day-to-day team leadership and oversight for all project-specific requirements from mobilization to close out. This high-performance individual will assume overall responsibility for the successful completion of assigned projects within allotted time and budget. The CS will answer to the Owner while overseeing subcontractors and workforce teams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist Preconstruction and Project Management with Bidding and Bid Management
- Verify and update daily reports on progress, materials used, punch lists, pictures, and schedule adjustments.
- Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to create and alter schedules
- Construction Management system audits (BuilderTrend)
- Plan reviews and Takeoffs (Bluebeam)
- Weekly job site safety walk Report
- Weekly job site photos
- O&M Manuals
- Keep meeting minutes
- Database management
- Ordering/shipping
- Process building assistance
- Document creation/adjustment
- Internet research - Green Initiatives & Rebate Programs
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Construction Management BS or relative experience (Preferred)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple team members
- Excellent time management, organizational, oral and written communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel (Required)
- Experience drafting or manipulating plans and photos (Preferred)
- 40 hours per week M-TH
- Work at office in Telluride, CO
- Pay - to be discussed based on experience
- W2, no benefits

- Task oriented, Organized
- BuilderTrend and Bluebeam experience a plus
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
