Responsibilities
- Install garage doors, including all associated hardware and components.
- Fabricate custom parts for unique installations.
- Execute drywall repairs and caulking to ensure a clean finish around installations.
- Conduct glass installation for garage door windows or panels.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
- Assist with heavy lifting of garage door components and equipment.
- Provide maintenance person services as required during the installation process.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in garage door installation or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with trim carpentry, caulking, drywall work, glass installation, and electrical systems is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds) regularly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques in the field.
