Essential Responsibilities and Requirements: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Core ResponsibilitiesMatch purchase order’s with packing slips and vendor invoices for accuracyData Entry of AP information into QuickBooksReconcile supplier statements for accuracyEnter all credit card transactionsReconcile credit card statements monthlyTrack credits and returnsPost departmental accounts payable to verify accuracy with the purchase orderProperly account for prepaid expenses and recognize in the correct periodsPerform weekly check runAdditional ResponsibilitiesCrosstrain to backup Accounts Receivable and Purchasing as neededVerify that transactions are recorded in the correct Company accounts: supplier’sledger, customer ledger and general ledgerPrepare and maintain account reconciliations for specified balance sheet accountsmonthly to be reviewed by the CFO.Be timely and compliant with monthly state filing requirements for the company.Research any financial variances as instructed by the CFORequirementsProven bookkeeping experienceSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsStrong Data entry skillsHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareProficiency in English and in MS OfficeHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailMust have a strong QuickBooks KnowledgeConfidentiality of company recordsExtensive computer experience in QuickBooks & Microsoft OfficeQualifications:Analytical with attention to detail.Integrity and ethics of the highest degree.Relational in all types of business cultures and with fellow team members.Organized in time management and in record keeping.Problem solver and solution oriented.Education/Experience:Possesses a Bachelors or Associate Degree in the Accounting FieldMust have a minimum of 4 years’ working experience in Accounting or equivalentWork Environment:Works in office areas as well as throughout the facility.Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.Interacts with staff, vendors and customersMay be required to work extended periods of time at a computer requiring repetitivemotion.Infrequent light physical effort required.Benefits:Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan with Match (401K)Life InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityPaid HolidaysCompany DescriptionOlde Wood Limited® is home to one of the most sought-after lines of wide plank flooring.
