The 2nd Shift Loader/Unloader is focused on preparing our products for delivery and reports to the IG Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attendance and some mechanical skills.
Job responsibilities include:
- On/off loading of glass from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily
- Assembling boxes, crates, or containers
- Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment
- Weighing, measuring and counting product
- Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed
- Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
- Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren't damaged
