Join Our Team as a Senior Accountant!
Old World Granite is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. We are a family owned and operated Co. with 47 years in business in the Phoenix area. Established as a premire stone company in both residential & commercial projects. A provider of high-quality fabrication and installation of granite, porcelain, marble, and other natural and engineered stone solutions. Daily Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounting AP/AR, payroll, payroll tax, journal entry prep, ect.
- Compile and analyze financial statements
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Conduct reconciliations of accounts
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of balance sheets and general ledger
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Ability to perform account reconciliations
- Familiarity with accruals and fixed assets
- Experience 7 years in public accounting OR Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3 years experience
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with job costing
- Experience in construction accounting
- CPA certification
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Knowledge of internal controls and tax regulations
- Strong financial reporting and analysis skills
- Previous experience in accounts receivable
Salary and Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $71,000.00
- Maximum Salary: $90,000.00
