We are currently seeking to hire a per diem Front Desk Receptionist. The schedule for this position will include weekdays and weekends. Our ideal candidates will possess strong multitasking skills, detail-oriented work habits, the ability to interact with all hospital guests with compassion and courtesy, as well as demonstrate professional, effective communication skills in stressful situations.

The Receptionist is responsible for:
- Greeting all staff, patients, and visitors to Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services.
- Screens guests to the hospital in following with facility protocols.
- Answers main hospital telephone line and directs callers to appropriate individual(s).
- Ensures the orderliness and overall organization of the reception area(s) and lobby throughout workday.
- Is aware of and monitors calls and interactions for potential HIPPA violations.
- Performs other clerical support as requested.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Two years previous experience in customer service role. Prefer previous experience in healthcare customer service role.
