Compensation: $15.15 - $18.00 per hour

Job Summary:
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repairs, and operations of all Old Tucson property and equipment. The position will also be dedicated to the upkeep of the park’s landscaping and cosmetic building upkeep.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect and maintain all property buildings, equipment, attractions, and appliances to verify proper function, daily operations, and ensure employee and guest safety.
- Assist in preparing the park for events, productions, and changing weather conditions.
- Participate in the design, construction, setup and breakdown of all special events.
- Repair plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, carpentry, appliances, equipment, painting and drywall, and structural issues as needed
- Document repairs at appropriate locations
- Communicate needs to managers to ensure repairs are made in an efficient and timely manner
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for employees and guests in public and private facing areas.
- Ensure preventative maintenance is followed in all buildings, equipment, and attractions.
- Maintain and improve landscaping, fencing, and vegetation.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Education, Skill & Work Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a facilities and maintenance role
- Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC experience preferred
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
- Ability to prioritize time and responsibilities based on company needs
- Must be physically fit to stand for prolonged periods of time, walk on uneven ground, sit, bend, stoop, and lift 25-75 pounds
- Valid Driver’s License
Work Environment:
- Significant time spent outdoors, often in extreme heat
- Ability to work evening, holiday, and weekend work (required)
- Able to walk, stand, and maneuver on uneven surfaces in and around property and in an industrial environment
- Ability to work in confined and small spaces
- Must have physical ability/agility to lift, climb, crawl, stoop, and bend in the performance of assigned tasks
- Able and willing to perform physically demanding work in 8–10-hour shifts, with overtime work possible.
