Old Trail School is seeking a passionate and collaborative individual to support our students in the after-school program, early childhood through Grade 8, encompassing ages 3-14 years. It is the expectation that the candidate will ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their physical, social-emotional, and educational needs in alignment with the school’s philosophies. We are seeking a candidate with the qualifications listed below to provide a nurturing and safe environment for our students to spend their after-school time.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include supervision of students after the school day during indoor or outdoor free play, arts and crafts, games, activities and homework help.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 1-2 years of experience working with children (teaching, childcare, camps, outdoor centers, etc.) and an interest in education. Most importantly, applicants should have a love of working with children in a collaborative, upbeat and positive environment.
