Job Summary
Old Town Patio in El Segundo has fully transitioned into a full-time BBQ restaurant and local beer haven, and we’re looking for experienced, personable, and high-energy Servers/Bartenders to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who can effortlessly move between the bar and the floor, knows how to build rapport with guests, and can deliver both excellent service and a laid-back, welcoming vibe.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Utilize POS system for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food items to customers.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the bar and kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Familiarity with sanitation practices in food service settings is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, utilize hand and fingers.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
