Old Tampa Bay Title is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Title Company Closer/Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the final stages of real estate transactions, ensuring all title documentation, legal descriptions, and escrow procedures are accurately completed. Your expertise will help clients achieve seamless property closings while adhering to underwriting guidelines and legal standards.

Duties
- Manage the entire escrow process from opening to closing, ensuring all steps comply with company policies and legal requirements
- Conduct comprehensive title searches, review title records, public records, and legal descriptions to verify property ownership and encumbrances
- Prepare and review real estate documentation including deeds, easements, and other legal descriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize real estate transaction management software (Qualia) and other tools to facilitate efficient processing
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, agents, and attorneys to gather necessary documentation and communicate updates throughout the closing process
- Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines during title review and title processing procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, easements, rights-of-way, and title review processes
- Qualia experience a plus
- Expertise in real estate documentation review including deeds, titles, legal descriptions, and related paperwork
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines adherence and real estate closing management processes
- Strong research skills for investigating public records, easements, or other property-related encumbrances
