Lead Early Childhood Teacher Old Stone Village – East Haven, CT

Old Stone Village is looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Lead Teacher to join our team!
Position Details
- Position: Full-Time Lead Teacher
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay: $18–$22 per hour, based on education and experience

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
- Create a safe, loving, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain positive communication with families.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration.
- Follow Connecticut OEC licensing regulations and center policies.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in an early childhood classroom.
- Early childhood education coursework or credentials preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Creative, dependable, patient, and enthusiastic.
- Passionate about helping young children learn and grow.
