Host/Busser Job Description:
The Host/Busser is a dual position that greets and seats guests creating a welcoming atmosphere and busses, resets tables, restocks and assists the team. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are what will make you successful in this position.
What You Will Do:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a genuine smile and positive attitude.
- Manage guest flow, wait list, take reservations, assign tables for fair and efficient seating.
- Bussing and resetting tables
- Escort guests to their assigned tables, present menus, and assist with seating arrangements, accommodate special seating requests if possible.
- Maintain a professional, polished appearance, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain a clean well-stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary items.
- Adhere to safety sanitation regulations for both staff and guests.
About You:
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Positive, friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with team and guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop for throughout shift and able to lift up to 40lbs
