Host-Hostess/Busser Job Description:
The Host-Hostess/Busser is a dual position that as a Host-Hostess, greets and seats guests creating a welcoming atmosphere and and a Busser, busses, resets tables, restocks and assists the team. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and a team player are what will make you successful in this position.
Pay Details:
Payrate while working as Host/Hostess: $16.30/hr.
Payrate while working as Busser: $16.30/hr. Plus Tips!
What You Will Do:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a genuine smile and positive attitude.
- Manage guest flow, wait list, take reservations, assign tables for fair and efficient seating.
- Bussing, cleaning and resetting tables.
- Escort guests to their assigned tables, present menus, and assist with seating arrangements, accommodate special seating requests if possible.
- Maintain a professional, polished appearance, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain a clean well-stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary items.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations for both staff and guests.
About You:
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Positive, friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with team and guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop for throughout shift and able to lift up to 35lbs.
