Assistant Kitchen Manager Job Description:
The Assistant Kitchen Manager helps oversee kitchen operations ensuring excellence in food quality and consistency while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
What You Will Do:
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining high standards for food prep and presentation and ensuring quality and cleanliness.
- Provide coaching and training to develop skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
- Follow and maintain proper sanitation, health regulations and food safety standards.
- Assist the Kitchen Manager with the daily running of the kitchen for smooth, efficient service.
About You:
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent verbal communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean organized kitchen.
- Able to lift 40lbs, stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach throughout shift.
- Strong team player.
