The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the inbound and outbound trucks of the plant. You will need to be able to lock trucks out to ensure safe loading and unloading, as well as provide BOL’s to the Material Handlers. On occasion, you will need to go to the staging lot and assist drivers with directions to the OSF plant. Movement of the box truck on the property. Lastly you will track all inbound and outbound trucks and update the proper spreadsheets with the tracking information.

Job Duties
§ Communicate accurately and clearly to fellow employees.
§ Ensure Truck lot is organized and has freedom of vehicle movement.
§ Give BOL’s to Material Handlers
§ Lock out Trucks for loading and unloading.
§ Schedule inbound and outbound Deliveries.
§ Track all deliveries and pickups from OSF
§ Ensure inbound trucks are using the travel paths delivering to OSF and report any issues to your manager.
Required Skills/Abilities
§ Must be proficient on the Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
§ Adequality communicate issues clearly and effectively to others
Education and Experience
§ Shipping and receiving experience preferred
Physical Requirements
§ Walking around the facility to distribute BOL’s to needed employees
§ Lock out trucks outside
§ Be able to drive a forklift when necessary

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
1. Ensure all trucks are locked out and proper paperwork is filled out
2. Trucks ETA’s are properly communicated
3. Clear communication with the Material Handlers
4. Updating inbound and outbound logs.
The pay range for this role is:
20 - 24 USD per hour(OSF Site 1)
