We are seeking a skilled Marine Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience rigging outboard engines, marine electronics, and boat accessories with precision and care. This position plays a key role in ensuring each vessel leaving our facility is rigged safely, cleanly, and to manufacturer and customer specifications.Key Responsibilities
- Derig and Install Engines: Remove and install outboard engines and associated systems, including hanging and aligning engines to manufacturer specifications.
- Run Wiring and Cabling: Route and secure engine harnesses, control cables, NMEA networks, and power wiring neatly and efficiently throughout the vessel.
- Install Controls & Components: Mount and connect binnacles, key switches, gauges, ignition panels, and digital control systems (e.g., Helm Master, iCommand, SmartCraft, etc.).
- Electronics Installation: Install, configure, and test a wide range of marine electronics including GPS/chartplotters, trolling motors, VHF radios, radar systems, fish finders, stereo systems, and network modules.
- Accessory Installation: Mount and wire hydraulic/electric accessories such as jack plates, Power-Poles, Raptor shallow water anchors, and lighting systems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all rigging, wiring, and installations are neat, secure, and meet both company and OEM standards for appearance and functionality.
- Documentation: Complete all rigging sheets, wiring diagrams, and job documentation accurately and promptly.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
