Summary of Position
Reporting to the Front of House Manager (“FOHM”), the FR is responsible for delivering correct orders to customers on the property and clearing tables.
All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
Primary Position-Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Primary position-specific responsibilities of the FR include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Customer Service. Provides excellent customer service to all guests, with the goal of engaging in conversations, creating regulars, and maximizing the customer experience. Answers customer questions regarding the available food outlets, menus, etc.
- Food Running. Delivers food, beverages, and other requested items to customers tables. Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to the customers’ satisfaction. Returns incorrect orders or improperly cooked orders to the correct food outlet.
- Station Upkeep and Side Work. Sets up the front line with the small wares, plate ware, and equipment needed to effectively serve all food items. Keeps the station restocked and cleans trays and tray stands. Performs all side work int eh front and back of the restaurant as scheduled or assigned by the FOHM.
- Table Maintenance. Clears dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware. Wipes down and sanitizes tables and resets tables with clean plates, napkins, and utensils.
- Workplace Cleanliness. Follows all sanitary practices for general cleanliness and maintenance of facility. Ensures that a clean and organized environment is presented at all times in the indoor and outdoor dining areas and restrooms.

Work Environment
This job entails prolonged periods of standing and interacting with customers. There is also frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, and produce items. Must be at least 18 years old to handle alcoholic beverages and 21 years old to pour alcoholic beverages.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, carry, push and lift objects between 25-50 pounds. Occasionally, the employee may be required to lift objects greater than 75 pounds.
