What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch Agent position at Old Republic Home Protection?
POSITION SUMMARY: The primary function of this role is to dispatch service calls from the dispatch queue.
SCHEDULE - DAYS: Thursday - Monday (off Tues-Wed)
SCHEDULE HOURS: 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm Pacific / 12 pm - 8 pm Eastern; specific hours will be determined with the supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Handle dispatch workload; dispatch according to the terms and conditions of the Plan.
2. Contact Service Providers and Plan Holders as necessary to Dispatch within the required time frames.
3. Alert management to delays or status changes for calls not dispatched promptly.
4. Appropriately handle incoming queue calls and emails within service level and time frame metrics.
5. Dispatch Authorized Outside Contractor (AOC), as necessary.
6. Update Contractor profiles when necessary.
Desired Education and Experience:
1. High School education or equivalent.
2. One year experience in customer service.
