As a Food Runner, you will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth operations and maintain high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist servers by communicating order details and ensuring accuracy of food presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Support the team in maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the restaurant.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking processes is a plus.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
