We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team at The Refuge Recovery Center as Addiction Counselors. In this role, you will be responsible for providing counseling and therapeutic services to individuals in our recovery programs. You will play a vital role in supporting clients on their journey to recovery by helping them address the underlying causes of addiction, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve their goals for a healthier, sober life.

We are looking for candidates with relevant certifications in addiction counseling (e.g., CADC I, CDAC II, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent) and experience in facilitating group therapy and working with individuals in crisis or recovery. A strong understanding of addiction, recovery models, and co-occurring disorders is essential, as well as the ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.

You will also assist with distributing essential supplies such as food, water, and medicine, and ensure the protection of vulnerable groups such as the homeless and substance abuse population. Physical and emotional resilience is important in this role to effectively support those in need during challenging times.
