Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Shipment Processing role based in Davenport, IA. The Shipment Processor is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing merchandise shipments, ensuring items are accurately counted, tagged, and prepared for the sales floor. Day-to-day tasks include sorting and folding apparel, replenishing stock, maintaining backroom organization, and following safety and loss-prevention procedures. The role also supports the store team with basic customer assistance, such as locating products and keeping selling areas clean and well-stocked. Team members are expected to follow company policies, meet productivity goals, and collaborate with colleagues and leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Ability to accurately process shipments, including receiving, counting, and organizing merchandise.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory handling and stock replenishment.
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with managers and peers in a fast-paced environment.
