Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Brand Associate Merchandising role based in Heath, OH. The Brand Associate Merchandising team member supports the in-store presentation of product, ensuring merchandise is well-organized, accurately signed, and visually aligned with Old Navy brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include replenishing and folding product, setting and adjusting floor layouts according to merchandising guides, and maintaining clean, shoppable displays across all departments. The role partners closely with store leadership and sales associates to prioritize key product stories, support promotional changes, and respond to real-time inventory and customer trends. This position also involves engaging with customers on the sales floor, responding to questions about product and promotions, and helping create a welcoming, inclusive shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Merchandising and visual presentation skills, including attention to detail in folding, sizing, and setting product according to brand guidelines.
- Customer service and communication skills to engage shoppers, answer questions, and support a welcoming, inclusive store environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing merchandising and promotional needs.
- Reliability in meeting scheduling needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for retail operations.
- Comfort with basic technology used in retail (e.g., handheld devices, POS systems, inventory tools) and willingness to learn new processes.
- Ability to stand, move, lift, and carry merchandise for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous retail, merchandising, or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required; a strong interest in fashion and brand presentation is a plus.
