Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently
- Manage cash register operations, including processing transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas and cashier station
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong cashiering skills
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Basic math skills for handling cash accurately and balancing register
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy morning hours
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude
