Front of House Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. Duties

• Supervise front-of-house staff including hosts, servers, bartenders, and support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Train and develop team members on customer service standards, food handling procedures, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and food safety protocols
• Manage shift schedules, allocate resources effectively, and oversee shift management to meet business needs
• Ensure accurate cash handling, POS transactions, and reconciliation at the end of each shift
• Monitor inventory control processes including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food and beverage costs
• Uphold food safety standards by supervising food handling practices and maintaining compliance with health regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment for all guests
• Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and support ongoing training & development initiatives
• Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased revenue and cost savings
• Lead team meetings to communicate goals, recognize achievements, and promote a positive workplace culture

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with strong supervisory skills
• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in basic math for cash handling and financial reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food production, catering experience, and kitchen management is highly desirable
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams; excellent managerial communication abilities
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and food handling regulations across various dining formats such as fine dining or banquet settings
• Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and managing hospitality operations efficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on team training & development to elevate guest satisfaction
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
