We are growing and looking for a friendly, service-driven, outgoing team member to help us fulfill our mission: "Making a positive difference in our neighbors' lives" This full-time Assistant Branch Manager position, located at our Old Hickory branch, offers a robust benefits package and the chance to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you'll support the Branch Manager in leading branch staff, delivering exceptional member service, and driving sales and service performance with the expectation of meeting or exceeding both branch and individual goals.
Working hours: 7:45 AM - 4:00* PM Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 5:00* PM Fridays
*plus time to wrap up and close, which varies by day
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong sales skills, including the ability to recognize cues, uncover unexpressed needs, and recommend appropriate products and services
- Identify and pursue current and prospective sales opportunities to support branch growth
- Process account transactions, loan applications, and new account openings with accuracy and professionalism
- Process teller transactions with the highest level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Perform other duties as required
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both employees and members
- Strong cash handling abilities, including accurate cash counting and daily balancing of a teller drawer
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and production goals
- Dependable, punctual and reliable
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team oriented environment and works well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a strong customer service mindset when interacting with members and branch staff

Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Minimum 2 years cash handling experience
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Previous management or supervisor experience in a financial institution setting strongly preferred
- Previous lending experience in a financial institution strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- In addition to a background and credit check, candidates must be able to pass a drug screen
*This position receives an hourly base rate and is eligible for additional unlimited, monthly incentive pay.*
