What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Door Assembler position at OLD FORGE INDUSTRIES?
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Employee for our Interior Door Assembly/Paint Department
Job Summary:
Spray paint interior door slabs, operate pre-hung door machine and assemble doors per customer order.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate paint spray gun and maintain spray equipment.
- Operate door machine, saws, routers, and nail guns.
- Inspection of final product before delivery.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Able to listen, understand and follow directions.
- Have the ability to read prints and technical documents.
- Attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma, GED or relevant working experience.
- Will be required to review all company safety programs and policies upon employment.
- Trades experience in Finish Carpentry helpful.
- Valid drivers license.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to life up to 70 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to squat, lift, stretch, and bend in order to complete daily tasks.
