Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Veterinary Technician, located in Frederick, MD. The Technician will perform day-to-day tasks including direct animal care, assisting with anesthesiology, client education, and various aspects of veterinary technology. Responsibilities also include maintaining a high standard of pet care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of all patients.
Qualifications
- Skills in Animal Care and Pet Care
- Proficiency in Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology
- Ability to provide Client Education and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Licensed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with AAHA-accredited practices is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field preferred
