Job Description
- Maintenance of safety equipment, utilities, steam plant, electrical distribution, water treatment facility, sewage treatment equipment, cheese, whey and cutting room equipment.
- install, maintain and repair all types of HVAC systems and equipment
- Identify and diagnose necessary services
- Maintain, repair and modify equipment as needed to ensure that product quality, consistency and schedules are met with minimum deviation from established norms.
- Works as a team with maintenance and production personnel to ensure continuity between shifts and departments.
- Performs all other job-related duties as assigned or required by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Appropriate certification and understanding of HVAC systems
- Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems.
- knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer and report writing skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
- Good time-management skills.
