The **Line Cook** works as part of one of our culinary teams, which may include Madisons, Four65 Woodfire Bistro, Old Edwards Club, GlenCove, or Half-Mile Farm. Each location offers a unique kitchen environment, and placement will be aligned based on the candidates qualifications and interests.
This role is responsible for preparing food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service while maintaining clean, organized workstations and adhering to all company sanitation and safety standards.

This role is responsible for preparing food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service while maintaining clean, organized workstations and adhering to all company sanitation and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items in a sanitary, consistent, and timely manner
- Follow recipes, portioning, controls, and presentation standards as outlined by company guidelines
- Receive and properly store food deliveries in a timely manner, ensuring organization and correct rotation in all storage areas
- Accommodate guest needs, including allergies and dietary restrictions
- Complete daily tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager on Duty
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with both back-of-house and front-of-house team members to support a productive work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas in accordance with company standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or leadership team
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment preferred
- Culinary degree (associate or bachelors) preferred but not required
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods, often in a hot environment
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
