Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Old Dutch Foods’ facility in Roseville, MN. This position is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, packaging lines, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting machinery, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with production teams to prioritize work orders, maintain accurate maintenance records, and comply with safety and quality standards. The role may also involve assisting with equipment installations, improvements to processes, and responding to emergency maintenance needs during production shifts.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance, with the ability to work on production and packaging machinery.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Experience performing Preventive Maintenance to minimize equipment failures and optimize performance.
- Basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge applicable to manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and food manufacturing guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams.
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing or industrial plant setting is preferred.
