Our childcare center is in search of qualified workers to help monitor and lead activities throughout the day. This job will help you develop excellent skills and techniques that can benefit you in both your personal life and in future careers in child development.
We are seeking to employ a Childcare Teacher Assistant in our EASTON location.
On-Call substitute positions are hourly M-F shifts range between 6:45 am and 6:00 pm.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Child Care Substitute Teacher Assistant will help plan and implement a program of activities, which will ensure each child’s personal safety while providing enrichment, physical challenges and learning experiences. The Substitute Teacher Assistant will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the Old Colony Y, and the regulating agency.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
- Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
