What are the responsibilities and job description for the Birthday Party Staff position at Old Colony YMCA?
Program/Department Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing, implementing and promoting assigned programs, special events and birthday parties.
- Be informed of all current and/or upcoming programs and special events in order to interpret YMCA membership and program information to members and potential members to increase their participation in each area.
- Assist birthday party with movement throughout facility as well as maintain a safe atmosphere for parties.
- Facilitate birthday party games when needed or directed by Associate Executive Director.
- Adhere to YMCA emergency birthday party and general procedures, including notification of appropriate professional staff person(s).
- Ensure all requests, comments and/or complaints are immediately addressed by you, and referred to your supervisor and/or the appropriate staff person.
- Fiscal Responsibilities
- Ensure birthday parties have paid remaining balance on accounts.
- Supervision of Personnel None
- Facility/Housekeeping Responsibility
- Ensure a safe environment for all participants.
- Be responsible for cleaning (using the damp towel method) as assigned, (before and after all birthday parties or special events).
- Interdivisional/Community/Volunteer Responsibility
