The Old Colony Yacht Club, a private member-based yacht club, is seeking reliable and personable bartenders to fill in on a flexible, as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for supplemental income in a relaxed, community-oriented setting.

Position Overview

Bartenders are responsible for providing friendly, efficient beverage service to club members and their guests while maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment. Due to the nature of a private club, some shifts may be slower-paced, while others—particularly during events—may be more active.

Hours & Scheduling

• Club hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 AM
• Shifts and hours vary based on club needs
• Additional hours available for private events and functions held in the upstairs function hall
• Flexible, fill-in scheduling

Compensation

• $15.00 per hour plus tips
• Premium hourly rate offered to offset occasional slower shifts typical of a private members club

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Restock bar supplies as needed
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Additional Duties

• Occasional light cooking or food preparation may be required
• Assist during club events and functions as needed

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Friendly, professional, and dependable
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
• Basic knowledge of drink preparation and bar operations
• Ability to multitask and work independently
