Chemistry/Physics Instructor
REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must have valid Chemistry and Physics Licenses (8-12).
Bachelor’s Degree
3 Years of classroom experience preferred
Job Description:
The candidate will teach and prepare for both Chemistry and Physics Courses
The candidate will collaborate with the Science Department regarding curriculum design, lesson plans, and department-wide initiatives
The candidate will update and refine instructional materials to align with the current MA Frameworks in each subject area
The candidate will maintain and manage an effective and engaging learning environment
The candidate will communicate actively with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress
The candidate will maintain up-to-date grades for students and will meet deadlines regarding uploading grades and midterm snapshots
The candidate will perform related duties as required by the Teachers Union Local No. 59 Contract
