Old Bust Head Brewing Company is seeking a full time Events Sales Manager position with benefits and a salary range from 44-50K per year depending on experience plus excellent sales bonus potential.
The events sales manager will grow and manage private events business at Old Bust Head Brewing Company. Must have disciplined systems and organizational skills, and an enthusiasm for sales, customer service, and aesthetics. This role involves managing large numbers of simultaneous prospect and client communications, developing client layouts and event details for multiple private event spaces, and day-of execution of events in collaboration with brewery staff. Weekend and evening hours required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales:
- Promptly reply to and maintain follow up with all leads and customer inquiries.
- Bring clients to contract by showing you understand their needs and guiding to the best package option or space to meet their goals.
- Network with other venues, planners, and caterers to expose event spaces to new clientele.
Event Planning & Logistics:
- Manage contracts, event details, layouts, and invoicing.
- Collaborate with the taproom manager for scheduling of event staffing.
- Act as the primary on-site customer service provider for clients during day-of execution.
Venue Management:
- Manage event inventory
- Ensure maintenance of all event related spaces.
Skills and Qualifications
- Sales Skills:. Ability to bring prospects to contract and to drive new interest in the venue.
- Organizational Skills: Disciplined adherence to systems and managing communications with multiple prospects and under-contract clients at the same time. Meticulous organization of event linens, supplies, and inventory.
- Communication Skills: Must communicate clearly with clients and with taproom team for smooth execution of events.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise before or during an event.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with Apple products and Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
