Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Cruise Group Manager to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. This role is responsible for managing and executing group cruise bookings, including affinity, promotional, and incentive groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cruise group procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful group operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of cruise group bookings from initial contract through final payment and sailing
- Coordinate with cruise lines on group space, amenities, pricing, and inventory management
- Handle group contracts, deposits, rooming lists, and final documentation
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and external partners to support affinity, promotional, and incentive group initiatives
- Monitor deadlines, including payment schedules, attrition dates, and release periods
- Ensure compliance with cruise line policies and procedures
- Resolve client and operational issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records and reporting related to group performance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with cruise groups
- Strong understanding of cruise industry group procedures and operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation/booking systems
- Ability to manage multiple groups and deadlines simultaneously
