Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Conduct thorough vehicle assessments using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to determine the best recovery method.
• Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, or forklifts to prevent damage during transit.
• Assist customers with roadside emergencies by providing prompt and professional support, ensuring a positive experience.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
• Collaborate with dispatch to prioritize jobs efficiently and communicate updates clearly.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Jumpstarts and lockouts and tire changes
• Fill out all Receipts and Damage Waivers completely and accurately.

Skills

• Some mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Proficiency in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment.
• Some knowledge of automotive repair procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management professionally.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with load securing methods to prevent damage during transit.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. • Experience driving commercial trucks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
