About The Opportunity
We're hiring Staff (or Senior Staff) Growth Engineers to build the foundation of OKX’s next-generation user growth engine. As OKX continues its expansion in the US market, this is a rare opportunity to define and scale the systems that will accelerate our global adoption.
You will work on high-impact, mission-critical growth initiatives—from experimentation platforms and analytics pipelines to recommendation engines and activation/retention systems. Your work will directly influence how millions of users discover, onboard, and engage with OKX across Web, Mobile, and emerging AI-driven experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing
The salary range for this position is $214,000 to $321,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build and maintain growth infrastructure (event tracking, A/B testing, user segmentation)
- Work with Java as the primary language, leveraging Spring Boot to build and enhance the existing codebase.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, driving effective solutions and long-term improvements.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously learning and applying the latest advancements in technology and software development.
- Implement and analyze growth experiments
- Collaborate with product & data teams to identify opportunities
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact team, contributing to cutting-edge payment solutions.
- 6 years of software development experience, with a strong track record of building scalable and reliable systems.
- Experience in growth systems: tracking, A/B tests, segmentation, or recommendation
- Proficiency in Java (experience with other languages is a plus).
- Strong product sense and metric-driven thinking
- Proven ability to develop and maintain high-availability, large-scale applications.
- Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Effective collaborator who thrives in a team environment and can drive cross-team solutions with complex dependencies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Java Spring Boot is preferred
- Experience with AI products or user persona systems
- A history (and preference) of being both strategic, analytical and execution-oriented
- Understanding of user psychology and behavior
- Experience working with teams across offices and time zones
