Kitchen Team Member: Line Cooks, Prep, Cashiers

We'll be celebrating with German cheer, dancing and singing to cooler weather and colder beer along the Hillsborough river downtown at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park this Oktober 9th, 10th, and 11th. Our Oktoberfest Tampa food kitchen also serves up traditional fare like bratwurst, chicken schnitzel, pretzels, fries and more all day, throughout the 3 festival days.

Job Description:

Line cooks will have the opportunity to work with our head chef to coordinate menu service. All kitchen tools to be provided.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Set up and stock all food stations with necessary supplies
• Prep all needed food items for service with the help of kitchen staff, proper execution of menu items
• Ensure that all food is made in a timely fashion and always in high quality
• Certify that all nutrition and sanitation regulations are kept
• Being a team player and helping other team members
• Assist with re-stocking when needed
• Keeping area neat & tidy

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to handle hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
• Continuous: reaching, bending, lifting, carrying
• Be able to stand and be on foot for the majority of the scheduled shift

Other Requirements:

• Must be available for all 3 days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Must be 21
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to stand for long periods of time, work long hours
• Have bank account for direct deposit
• Able to work in outdoor conditions, shade provided
• Must wear restaurant footwear / non-slip shoes
• MUST HAVE FUN!

Festival Schedule (Staff Hours)

• Friday Oktober 9: 7AM-11PM
• Saturday Oktober 10: 7AM-11PM
• Sunday Oktober 11: 7AM-10PM
• Additional prep hours are available Okt: 5-8

Additional

• Wages commensurate to experience
